After-school peanut butter and apple wheels

Mix up the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich by substituting the bread for apple slices. Cut, spread, go! for those hangry after school moments.

What you’ll need

  • 2 apples
  • Peanut butter or almond butter
  • Fillings. You can use your favorite jelly here, but we recommend trying fresh berries instead. Blueberries, sliced bananas, or strawberries are fun.

What to do

  1. Slice the apple into rounds. Use a small knife to remove the core, or you can get creative and use a mini cookie cutters to cut shapes.
  2. Spread peanut or almond butter on apple slices. Decorate with fresh fruit.
  3. Stack and enjoy!

These can get kind of messy so have plenty of napkins handy. 🤗
