Kid-friendly smoothies are the perfect treat for breakfast, lunch or snack. Not only do they taste great, but it is the perfect base for adding in extra vegetables and other nutrient-rich foods. A creamsicle smoothie is like dessert, but better with ingredients such as vitamin-full carrots, potassium-rich banana, Greek yogurt loaded with protein and more.
- 1 frozen ripe banana
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ½ cup low-sugar orange juice
- ¾ cup Greek yogurt
- 2 whole carrots, cleaned and chopped
- 1 orange, peeled and sliced
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy!
